Mixed Media Collage
A mixed media collage layered and printed on upcycled photos of old derelict churches, exploring themes of gender and sexuality.

Silk Painting
A sample of different silk painting techniques, using gold Gutta to outline and contain the paint, experimenting with dry, wet, drip, and salt techniques.

Mixed Media Collage
A repurposed baby photo of Kai, with collaged letters from The Sun, well known to publish anti-trans media. The word “Trans” is cut from a piece supporting the bathroom bill.

Lino Print
A lino print of the Transgender Symbol. The design has been repeated underneath to give a 3D look.

Textiles: Bumbag
The in-between construction process of a bumbag made entirely from upcycled denim, complete with red inner pockets and a contrast nylon zip.

Gelliplate Printing
Handprinted paper that has been printed on using a Gelliplate. A lino print has been layered over the top with the etching “T4T”

Lino Print
A lino print of a cartoon-style frog. The design has been repeated underneath to give a 3D look, so you see double.

Textiles: Drawstring Bag
A patchwork gym bag using upcycled denim and a combination of different stitch patterns and raw edges, with recycled drawstring from a shopping bag. A Frog has been screen printed on both the front and back.

Mixed Media Collage & Drawing
A mixed media collage was created in an art therapy session, using colour theory emotions to correlate with our mood. I felt sad, so I chose the colour blue and represented this feeling with a self-portrait.
